To check your VP-9000 ROM firmware version follow these steps:
1. Press PERFORM.
2. While holding SHIFT, Press EXIT.
3. The ROM version will be displayed on the right side of the display.
5. Press EXIT when finished. The VP-9000 will return to the Perform screen.
The latest version is 1.12 so if you don't have the latest version check out Updating OS firmware on Roland VP-9000
